Fostering Growth With Grace Academy

Contribution to our community is an important aspect of the Hughes Turner Phillips culture. In 2018, we were honored to serve as second-year sponsors at Grace Academy Clay Shooting event located at Garland Mountain.

” The mission of Grace Academy is to place God first in the lives and education of one of the most precious gifts from God: our children. We seek to do so by instilling and nurturing a reverential love and fear of the Lord our God by fostering growth in the following areas: Faith, Honor, and Excellence.”

As apart of our customer appreciation we extended an invite to our client, Stream Realty. Associates that were in attendance were Jordan Camp, Billy Graddy, William Wilson, and Reid Hanner. Many of Stream Reality’s associates were a newbie to shooting skeet.

The day began with an introduction and an explanation of the safety rules of Garland Mountain. After rounds of shooting on the Sporting Clays Trail Course, a 100 shot course with 14 stations, we enjoyed a bite to eat, relaxed on the expansive decks and enjoyed the incredible views of the Blue Ridge Mountains. We ended the day with a few raffle prizes such as Yeti ramblers; custom made knives and shotgun gear.

We had a great time and look forward to sponsoring Grace Academy again this year.
