Recognizing birthdays is essential to Hughes Turner Phillips. As a way for our employees to feel valued and appreciated in the office, we decided to create an office questionnaire to celebrate each employee’s birthday.

1. How long have you been at HTP?
I have been with HTP since Joe, Susan, and I started the company in 2013. The three of us have worked together for 20 years.
2. How has the company changed since you’ve been here?
The team that we have assembled at HTP is amazing at supporting and working with each other. There are always challenges with any company; however, as a team, we’ve overcome them together.
3. If you could do any other job here, what would it be?
Luckily, I get to do a little bit of everything. Never a dull moment at HTP.
4. Do people have a nickname for you at work?
They probably do, but thankfully they don’t say it out loud!
5. What is your hidden talent?
I bake a great cheesecake.
6. What does a day in the life of Matthew Turner look like on your birthday?
Having your birthday fall near Labor day in Atlanta is amazing! There is always a long weekend and a variety of events to attend. This year I celebrated my birthday at Dragon Con with 10,000 people.
