HI, I’M BRIEN DUNGAN

Raised in the thriving metropolis of Snellville, GA, I was exposed to a vast array of charming and quaint architectural influences. Being so overwhelmed by the opportunities to practice my design skills, I made the decision to enlist in the US Army. After arduous deliberation between the vast available Military Occupational Specialties, I settled on the safe, structured, and constant day-to-day activities of an Explosive Ordnance Disposal (EOD) Specialist. The opportunity to return to Atlanta and study architectural drafting appealed to me, immensely.  I graduated from Lanier Technical College with a AAS in Drafting Technology. I joined the amazing team of Hughes Turner Phillips in October of 2019.

My appreciation of the rules and regulations governing how a building must be assembled helped to enrich my problem solving, design and construction skill set.  Most of my professional career has included commercial office design and tenant improvement projects, as well as a short year and a half venture to the residential side of the house.

When I am not at the office, I can be found in my home office playing video games as though it were second and third job. I also enjoy the occasional excursion to the beach or to catch a Braves game.
