Partner/ Interior Designer

The discovery that I wanted to be an interior designer happened at 12 years old while playing the game “Clue.” I found the ability to move from room to room in a floor plan view intriguing. It is only natural that the space planning process is now my favorite part of design.

As a native Atlantan, I stayed close to home and attended Georgia State University where I received a Bachelor of Fine Arts in Interior Design and was placed on the Dean’s List. I am a licensed Interior Designer in both Georgia and Florida as well as a LEED Accredited Professional. My many (yes MANY) years of professional experience led me to a position as Interior Design Project Manager at Herring Troy Associates where I worked for 20 years. In 2014, I founded Hughes Turner Phillips Associates with my then colleagues Joe Hughes and Matthew Turner.

I believe in giving back and have volunteered my time for 10 years with a local homeless shelter where I served as Board President. When I am not working or volunteering, I can be found running (slowly) with the Galloway group training for my next half marathon, experiencing new wines or indulging in dark chocolate of any kind.
