I am proud to say I grew up in Tennessee and graduated from the University of Tennessee in Interior Design. I am NCIDQ certified and worked for Looney, Ricks, Kiss Architects in Memphis before coming to Atlanta to work in the facilities field. I designed and managed numerous projects, and coordinated an excessive number of moves as a Facility Manager for the headquarters then located in Atlanta.
I came to Hughes Turner Phillips Associates and enjoyed taking hospitality, tenant improvement, and office warehouse spaces from programming through construction documents to construction administration. I left my position to raise my oldest son and my twins. Now that they are in college and finishing high school; I’m back! I like to say I had the longest maternity leave ever! I am working part time and assisting my wonderful coworkers with CAD work, space planning, finish selections, and anything else that is needed. I like to think that my attention to detail is one of my strong suits. I am thrilled to be back.
I love all the hats that I wear: designer, wife, mother, school/sports volunteer, hockey/lacrosse mom (still working on the rules for Lacrosse), and encourager for my kids to attain Eagle Scout, honor roll, and good ol’ fashion manners to include kindness and compassion.
