I was born and raised in Atlanta, GA, and I couldn’t call anywhere else home. Growing up, I thought everything I made was a masterpiece (although looking back, I wasn’t exactly the young Picasso I thought I was). As I got older, I continued pursuing my art interests, taking AP Studio Art in high school, and it was this interest in art and creativity that led me to Hughes Turner Phillips.
I was fortunate enough to be able to intern with the company last summer, and thankful to come back again this year. I love the experience I am getting and the opportunity to learn new skills.
In May, I graduated from Marist School and will be going to college to continue my education at Cornell University in Ithaca, NY in the fall. There, I plan on majoring in Design + Environmental Analysis to explore my interests and learn about creating a sustainable and healthy future through design innovation and research. I love drawing and painting, but my passion lies more in bettering the future with design.
I am not sure exactly what my path will be, but I am excited to find out, and I’m glad Hughes Turner Phillips is helping me do that.
